No, Beyond Bartending does not have a liquor license. We are a "dry hire" service that includes the bartenders, bar tools of the trade and a comprehensive shopping list for everything you will need to bring on the day of, including alcohol quantities.
Yes, We carry liquor liability and general liability insurance. We can provide a COI (certificate of insurance) upon request for a retained event to any vendor, venue or private client.
Yes, All of our staff (bartenders, barbacks, servers, bussers) are TABC (Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission) CERTIFIED
The amount of bartenders depends on guest count, length of the event and what you plan to serve:
- 1 bartender up to 50-60 guests serving beer and wine
- 1 bartender up to 30-40 guests serving cocktails
The staff increases per the 3 factors listed above.

Our team standard uniform is black trousers, black vest, tie and black or white button down shirt. We also have a choice of a short sleeve black polo or a button down shirt and black apron.
Gratuity is not included in our base quote, but in hospitality industry it is customary. There are two options:
- 18% of staffing total tip cups
- Host paid gratuity, no tip cups
Typically, 2 hour set up and 30 minute breakdown.
We are based in Houston. We serve the greater Houston area and would love to serve other regions with a travel fee when necessary.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to book your event date, upon signing the contract.
All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the event are eligible for a refund of remaining balance, excluding the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are nonrefundable, as staffing and preparation have already been secured.
